In the Novels[]
Queeg was the Lord of Mechanicsburg at the time of the Incredibly Brief Rebellion of Mechanicsburg, which lasted two minutes and thirty-six seconds. As it was against "family tradition" to kill their subjects en masse, Queeg instead inflicted punishment by decreeing every child in Mechanicsburg must learn an instrument.[1]
In the Game[]
Queeg Heterodyne seemed to have also broken through at a very young age, having invented his chicken clanks as a toddler.
When he was 5 years old, his younger brother was born. Watching servants take care of the baby inspired Queeg to update his chicken clanks so they would spit acid.
