The fan term Moxana points originated on the Girl Genius Yahoo! Group. They're roughly equivalent to "brownie points" or "winning an internet". One earns Moxana points by making correct predictions about the comic, which is something of a sport among the fans who read and comment daily. In theory, you would win more points for predicting something most fans don't expect or lose them when you make a bad prediction. In fact, there are no real rules or set values and no one really keeps track of them.[1]

- "Moxana points to anyone who predicted a pie in the face."
- "I will bet all my Moxana points that there's a scene change on Friday."
