The Medical Trainer is a creation of Klaus' that he apparently left in residence ✣ at the Great Hospital at Mechanicsburg. The Clank appears to be capable of being operated by a person of limited mobility, such as Klaus after his... mild incapacitation ✣ ... after the Battle of the Circus. Although Medical Transport was the first interpretation of the partially-seen labeling on the front of the clank, later views ✣ show it is a "Medical Trainer"... although that begs the question, "training what?" Over the top physical therapy?
Dr. Sun is not thrilled to find his patient using the clank, and is preparing to manually disassemble it ✣ when he is diverted by a minor distraction. This is only a temporary reprieve for the clank, as Klaus later again attempts to leave the hospital in it, resulting in its and his incapacitation ✣ by Sun and the hospital staff.
Despite the text being ambiguous in its first appearance and explicitly not that when the Baron meets Othar, Agatha H. and the Siege of Mechanicsburg changes the name to "medical transport".
Futhermore, in the sketch artwork ✣ for the Works 2nd ed, it is not only (fairly clearly) labeled "Medical Transport", it is given the name Wulfenbach's Walker
