A Spark, a follower of The Other, and apparent member of the The Council, Gottmurg Snarlantz[1] was tasked with watching over many of the latter's Hive Engines. He was fascinated by them, and worked on improving them. The most important results of his work were a prototype spark-infecting wasp and the wasp that apparently turned the entire town of Passholdt into a mutated form of revenant. It's unknown what exactly happened to Snarlantz himself, but it is strongly implied he did not survive the experience.
In the print novel Agatha H. and the Clockwork Princess, it is commented that he possessed an "unfortunate" set of teeth.
