Many editors make long wikis.

Did we know before that this planet is called "Earth"? Also, doesn't the Castle move much further (albeit more slowly) by revolution around the Sun than by rotation? But, ignoring the last three panels, Castle is being much more sensible and insightful than usual today. Bkharvey (talk) 06:19, 14 January 2022 (UTC) P.S. Yes, I know we knew it has a neighbor called "Mars."

Since many other features of this story have familiar names, why wouldn't it be called Earth? And do we really need that level of precision at this point? Fred1740 (talk) 13:54, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
Just curious, Fred. But yeah, now I remember some of those cases cited below. Bkharvey (talk) 01:39, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
Agatha mentioned Earth back here: fifth frame when they were stabilizing Kjarl. Prior to this, I think one has to go back to the semi-canonical short story, 'Revenge of the Weasel Queen' the first page for the 3rd installment mentions "Fried Yarthling".--Doug Relyea (talk) 14:01, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
See also: Yarth. There have been plenty of references to Earth. Here's a short listing from the Chronology - there are more.

While I can post references all day, I think the earliest Earth reference is in the T'Otheron story ("Tremble, puny Earth creatures!" ), unless you count the Flatten the Earth Society. Yarth is, so far, a one-off joke specific to RotWQ. Zibbiz (talk) 16:56, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
