GOD! I do hope that little Blue Kid grew his horns/antlers after he was born! If before---his poor mother! Bosda Di'Chi 11:45, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

They would have been smaller at birth, since he would have been smaller. And we don't really know anything about monster anatomy of the birth canal. As long as they don't come out point first... Maybe monster babies, or at least his kind, pop out feet first. Or maybe the antlers are rubbery at birth, like practical joke coat hooks. Bkharvey (talk) 14:23, 18 October 2021 (UTC)
You'd think they'd work like regular antlers, assuming they're not antennae or something. We're also assuming that these folks are vivaparous - for monsters, pretty much anything is on the cards. Zibbiz (talk) 15:26, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

Next question: are snailberries fruit, or another a variety of snail? Zibbiz (talk) 15:25, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

Dimo's comment implies that they're actual berries, possibly with an early spring season, though we know from the books certain snail varieties are also seasonal. PhoenixTalion (talk) 16:09, 18 October 2021 (UTC)
Yes, I am assuming snailberries are a kind of berry. After all, Salmonberries, which grow in the Foglios neck of the woods (so to speak) and may possibly have served in some small way as an inspiration for the name "snailberries", are a kind of berry (a fruit), not a variety of salmon (a fish). -- 🔧William Ansley (talk) 03:05, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, until we hear otherwise I'm choosing to believe snailberries are what happens when the Heterodynes get their hands on the blackberry/raspberry/dewberry hybrid complex. PhoenixTalion (talk) 23:09, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
