Well, that's ominous, foreboding, foreshadowing. It's the HMA Crisp we're currently aboard? Doug Relyea (talk) 04:27, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

Good eye. Yeah, one of fragile as a..., "burned to a...", or "... and Henkle". ⚙Zarchne (talk) 04:45, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
I wonder if the English Lifegliders have a HALO option? Doug Relyea (talk) 05:10, 10 May 2021 (UTC) (for those not familiar: High Altitude {insertion} Low Open {deployment})
I am wondering the same thing. My current assumption is yes, we are aboard the HMA Crisp. I know nothing about the personnel on a naval ship beyond what I have absorbed through reading/watching fiction and the knowledge I just acquired by a few minutes research on Wikipedia. I am currently assuming that, in panel 6, we see (front, from left to right) an officer (possibly the first mate) conning the ship, giving orders to a helmswoman, the Captain holding the (air)ship's log (which has the name of the vessel on it), and a communication's communications officer. And then, (back, from left to right), a soldier and Krosp. I welcome any corrections to this description of the roles of the people in this panel. -- William Ansley (talk) 05:27, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Can't resist... There's no apostrophe in "communications." Bkharvey (talk) 08:47, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Please don't resist! If I make a careless error in grammar, punctuation, or fact, I want to know about it. -- William Ansley (talk) 17:01, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

Okay, for some reason, after I added the above, when I try to edit again, I get an editor on an empty page. Really empty, none of that header stuff. And I can't add text to it. I got to the editor instance I'm using now by clicking on "history" and then after getting a comparison of the last two edits I can click "Edit source" and get the actual page. If other people have the same problem, feel free to delete my edit. And file a bug report... ➤

Yeah, I've seen that behavior quite a bit, except that there is a 503 error message (service unavailable) in the editor window. I don't think it's a bug per se, it's just that Fandom's servers get overloaded from time to time. The parts of the page that stay the same (background graphics and title bars and the editor itself) can be loaded (especially since they're in browser cache), but when the browser tries to get the actual text —which requires the server to access the database—, the server returns that error. ⚙Zarchne (talk) 15:49, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Oh, wait, now it did it without the error message. And just now it saved my edits with message "page updated" or something over the previous two edits by other people without bringing up the conflict window. Blargh.⚙Zarchne (talk) 16:05, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

Now I can say what I mistakenly said in the last page's page: Why is Krosp in such a panic? The bad buys know we're coming, and presumably our gang are prepared for enemy action. And Krosp should know that we know that this is where Prende's Lantern ended up, so what is he just learning that's causing him to panic? ➤

Krosp is panicking because he doesn't think those are ancient ruins, he thinks those are very modern ruins made by those that they are chasing within the last week or so, and that have been aged very quickly by the lantern doing something to time on the island. He doesn't want to age to death in 6 seconds or something if they get into the area of effect of whatever is going on there. (First time editting, hope I'm doing this right.)
Welcome. You did okay, but please sign your comment with four tildes: ~~~~, and preferably create an account, so you're not just 99.157.... As for your theory that they were built recently and then aged makes some sense, but my take was that the ruins have been brought from another time and Krosp is worried they'll get trapped there. But don't worry, I'm almost always wrong. ⚙Zarchne (talk) 15:49, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

The last panel reminds me of Tarvek telling Captain Hawkins to turn away fast, and then being surprised when she does it without argument. I bet Krosp doesn't get the same reaction. Bkharvey (talk) 08:57, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

First, I got here without any issues. Second, Krosp is in a panic as they don't have an anti-Prende's Lantern device. Doug Relyea (talk) 10:52, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Yes, fine, but Krosp knew or should have known that the Lantern was in play before seeing this potential evidence. I still don't see why he's in a panic only now. Bkharvey (talk) 00:52, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
I agree, it seems the airship crew is operating on a different plan. Rule of Funny maybe? Doug Relyea (talk) 04:23, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

WOOSTER??? The Foglio's keep changing their minds a little with Rakethorn's appearance (facial hair, curls, eye color). DLcygnet (talk) 14:36, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

The Phil version of Kaja being unable to be able to keep the character names straight. Don't worry, it will be fixed in the novelization. 😃 ⚙Zarchne (talk) 16:14, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, I've been having trouble parsing the appearance of the male English characters lately also. Bkharvey (talk) 00:52, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

"built yesterday" Whee! Can I claim a Moxana point? -- SpareParts (talk) 15:23, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

That was just DuPree musing. Hasn't been confirmed yet. ⚙Zarchne (talk) 16:05, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

Maybe Krosp doesn't know exactly what the threat is, just that something bad will happen if they land. --Geoduck42 (talk) 17:36, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
