The Sneaky Gate is open. Argadi (talk) 01:17, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

Funny that everyone is inspecting every other ship and he's on this one... Bkharvey (talk) 07:27, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

What were the odds. Doug Relyea (talk) 09:44, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

Martellus is being particularly obtuse here. It doesn't matter how many allies he has; it is impossible to defeat The Other unless one has a way to prevent/remove the mind control effect. Autoch (talk)

Oh, and did we really need another anthropomorphic animal with an attitude? Plus, I'm a little annoyed that Martellus could replicate Dr. Dim's crowning achievement on a whim in a day or so. Autoch (talk)

Well, Tweedle was Dr Dim's student, if I recall correctly. Good odds that that, his money, & position could help him get Dim's notes, if any or at all. Bosda Di'Chi 14:32, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
True, but he didn't even know that Krosp was the masterpiece until he was told. Autoch (talk)
Martellus learned of Vapnoople's crowning achievement after Martellus had moved on from being Vapnoople's apprentice. Krosp was created while Vapnoople was a prisoner of Klaus on board Castle Wulfenbach. It is interesting how he ended up with the Shiny Thing, maybe Dr. Monahan couldn't stand the Bears. (Dr Monahan was Vapnoople's last apprentice before he was captured by Klaus.) Or Vapnoople created the bears while on the lam from Albia and before he was captured by Klaus, being able to send to Martellus the Shiny Thing more easily. And Martellus was not able to replicate exactly Vapnoople's crowning achievement, otherwise he wouldn't be taking so much lip from 'Rita'. Krosp has explained that besides uplift, Vapnoople was a master at instilling obedience to him from his creations. I expect it was the combination of conflicting interests plus those parts of a particular human brain grafted into Krosp that allowed him to defy Dr Vapnoople at the temple below Albia's Science Dome.Doug Relyea (talk) 15:44, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Sounds like 'Rita' also has part of a human brain. With political savvy. Wonder if it was anyone we knew? __ SpareParts (talk) 18:54, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
I expect that will be the case, the 'donor' for 'Rita' is/was someone we've met. Doug Relyea (talk) 16:24, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
Krosp, as Vapnoople's Masterpiece, is the leader of his bears. That is his main purpose, the "Emperor of all cats" was cover to hide Krosp's true purpose from Klaus. "Rita" exists to be an Agatha substitute. She doesn't control anything. She is not on the same level of complexity as Krosp. She is likely to give Martellus trouble as she doesn't seem to be all that loyal. Fred1740 (talk) 11:19, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
BWAAHAHAHAHAHA! Come Pinky, we must further our plans for world domination once the humans and cats are too busy with each other to bother with us! Doug Relyea (talk) 16:28, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
