Veni, vidi, wiki (I came, I saw, I edited).

How many Moxana points do I get for the t-shirts? Bkharvey (talk) 06:50, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Where did you mention it? When I mentioned selling shirts I thought it had been mentioned earlier, but I can't find your statement this morning. (I'm not questioning the claim, I'm just annoyed and confused that I can't find it.) (I called the unguarded warehouse on Friday.) Argadi (talk) 11:08, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Oops, you're right. What I said was "Agatha memorial merchandise." I think I was thinking that would include t-shirts, but on the other hand at that time I was thinking they actually meant to kill her. So you get the points for first mention. Sorry! Bkharvey (talk) 12:08, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
No you get those points. I didn't search for "merchandise" today but when you said that I thought shirts. I don't go for the mugs or tea towels. (My mother-in-law does collect the "little tiny spoons". It would be interesting to see her reaction to an "I helped capture the Heterodyne" spoon, but I don't look forward to trying to explain the context. "Who turned off the what and chased who?") Argadi (talk) 16:24, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
No one has ever come up with an actual system for awarding Moxana points, as far as I know (and which is a good thing as far as I am concerned), so I will just say (in my best Pete Puma voice), "You get a whole lotta points!" -- William Ansley (talk) 03:07, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
I believe I'm the first person to speculate that Plumm and company borrowed heavily to finance their "I caught the Heterodyne" souvenirs. -- William Ansley (talk) 04:32, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
I've always understood (back from when it was just the Yahoo mailing list) a Moxana Point as a pretty big deal; the origination of correct prediction is worth one point. "You won the Internet!" Partial correctness or piling on is worth less than a point. ⚙Zarchne (talk) 17:00, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
All right, I type corrected. I'm afraid I started my Girl Genius fandom late enough that I missed the Yahoo mailing list until it had already started fading in popularity and I don't recall seeing any specific statements about awarding Moxana points there. Using the stated criteria, I'd say that Bkharvey deserves a full point, then. -- William Ansley (talk) 01:45, 6 February 2021 (UTC)

Nice to see Iraq is closing their Manhole Cover Gap with India. I'm guessing that's a for-real Wild Jaeger holding the Mistletoe in the left side of the first Frame, likely in the employ of Horace? Shortly to be a hot time in the Old Warehouse to-nite! Doug Relyea (talk) 07:24, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Aren't all the Jaegers in the Jaegerhall? I can't envision this being a night one would miss for a warehouse-guard gig. But it does look/act like one... Scientician (talk) 14:40, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
It's why I suggested it was a wild Jaeger. Could also be Ivo Sharktooth is not the only Jaeger to depart the Horde on good terms. Doug Relyea (talk) 17:25, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
You don't need to be a Jäger to have pointy ears or purple skin. -- SpareParts (talk) 18:13, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
I'm afraid I am confused regarding your Iraq reference. What reason is there to think that the manhole cover shown on this page was made in Iraq rather than India? -- William Ansley (talk) 03:12, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
At normal viewing, panel two appeared to me as Mousul, an archaic spelling of Mosul. Zooming in with a photo viewer it looks different. Doug Relyea (talk) 05:05, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
I see. Thank you for responding. Phil's lettering in that panel is definitely a mess. My attempt to decipher it resulted in "MUNICPLE MORKS", so I am assuming it is supposed to be "MUNICIPAL WORKS", which makes sense in context and which I have recorded in the chronology. -- William Ansley (talk) 12:40, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

It's too bad Offworld Designs is shutting down. Where will the Professors be selling those new t-shirts? Argadi (talk) 11:08, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

I was thinking the same thing. I'd buy one! Even if they're in bad taste. :) Bkharvey (talk) 11:09, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
'LIVE LAUGH LURK' is perfectly tasteful. -- SpareParts (talk) 17:34, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
Anyone here want to make up a design based on today's comic? If the professors won't ship one maybe we can arrange it. We can get it printed in snail flavor to avoid bad taste. Argadi (talk) 11:58, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Who doesn't like a roaring warehouse fire on a chilly night? Scientician (talk) 14:35, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Should keep the Mobs busy in a running, screaming, trying to save life and property sort of way. Good for at least a couple of hours. Doug Relyea (talk) 17:25, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
They're getting along like a house on fire! (Flames, screams, people running for their lives..)

The blue-ish flame seems much larger in panel 7 - what is that anyways? 136.37.24.162 19:33, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
