That's not the prize of the Harvest Festival snail race in panel 7, is it? And, the plot thickens. Does the Castle know about this bribing of the Revelsmeister? Why is or isn't he (Plumm) helping Kaja? Why is or isn't the Castle? Bkharvey (talk) 06:22, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

- The Castle possibly did know, that's why it faked going to sleep. The bribe most likely was made days earlier when it was believed Agatha would participate. The Castle looks after the Heterodyne. The fact that Kaja is not the Heterodyne is known to the Castle but not the general population of Mechaniscburg. Fred1740 (talk) 21:06, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
- And is known to the Jagers ✣ . Of course, it was necessary to inform the Jagers, as they'd have known at a whiff, anyway, so it wouldn't do for them to give it away through obvious surprise.. (A couple of them mentioned it during the stomp, but in all the din, it was not likely to be heard by any ears not intended.) I'm not clear, though, on the point of whether the Jagers knew the traditional chase would happen after they were done carousing with her. —Undomelin ✉ 18:10, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
