Veni, vidi, wiki (I came, I saw, I edited).

The Young Ladies' Cake and Mayhem Society would be a good name for a rock band. -- William Ansley (talk) 05:01, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

Actually I think Agatha shouldn't object to Bang sparring/practicing with Zeetha, supposing Bang could bring herself to do it. Zeetha's right; if she's out of practice, Bang is just what she needs. But of course that's not what Bang wants; she wants a fight to the death. I wonder how this will be resolved. I also need to think more deeply into how readily Bang learned to fear Agatha. I mean, yeah, Agatha is the best of sparks, but not the only one; Tarvek is good, too, and that's not how she reacted to him. (I know, the needs of the story were quite different back then.) And Gil's second only to Agatha, isn't he, and yet Bang has never been afraid of him, to the point that she was prepared to point a gun at him back when they met with the Circus. Bkharvey (talk) 05:38, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

P.S. No wonder Zeetha's fights haven't been going well if she can have that long "conversation" with Bang without noticing that she's not moving! Bkharvey (talk) 05:41, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

Klaus was capable of scaring Bang, or at least making her cautious- "...I will kill you with the power of my mind!" "I.. I'm pretty sure he can't really do that.." --Geoduck42 (talk) 05:48, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
I don't see an issue with that; it's the power of his mind that enables him to create something that will kill her dead. Of course, that was Klaus, so who knows... I do think this whole thing is serving to remind Bang of just how bad an idea it is to get on a Spark's bad side; as competent as she is, any halfway capable Spark should be able to stop her cold. Dmbreakey (talk) 22:55, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
Bang learned to fear Agatha in such a short time because Agatha was able to render Bang completely helpless almost instantly and effortlessly. Recall that Bang was impressed that NightMaster Jaron was actually able to cut her, which few people could do; Agatha could have killed Bang right there, and she literally couldn't have lifted a finger to stop it. That got Bang's attention in a way that no verbal threat ever could. On top of that, we've already seen the effect of a Spark threatening a non-Spark when Gil terrified Wooster back on Castle Wulfenbach. This situation obviously doesn't have any of the "Milking the Giant Cow" that Gil displayed, but Agatha is nevertheless in the Madness Place when she utters that Tranquil Fury threat to Bang. P.P.S. I'm envisioning Kaja making the last pledge to push the Kickstarter over the edge at the last second. :) Bkharvey (talk) 05:50, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

I don't think Zeetha was that oblivious. She was displaying a familiarity that I think Bang would normally have objected to.
As to the fights that went poorly, if you haven't seen the forms before, one could misjudge what's coming (fight with the Geisterdamen in Paris) Until Zeetha breaks thru and can generate counter-spark energies or wards, any fight with a Lucrezia - level Spark is going to go poorly for Zeetha.
and I foresee yet another side-quest. It will come out why Bang wants to kill Zeetha. If the Sparks don't offer up Blood Money for Dupree's pirate band, then they will likely assist Dupree in restoring her to her Queendom. Be really interesting if there's a spring on her Island like the source of the Dyne. Doug Relyea (still can't sign in.)
Doug Relyea, I'll see if I can help at all with your log-in problem. Let's move the troubleshooting to a helpdesk forum page: Log in problem
I can't imagine that Bang would be a very good queen for non-pirates. But also, what, you think Zeetha caught on that persons unknown had paralyzed Bang for unknown reasons, and, without so much as a "huh," smoothly took advantage of it? Which would mean that she doesn't really want to spar with Bang? Bkharvey (talk) 07:04, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
Says much for the people of her nation, I think. What better Island to take over for a secret Lab, than an island of Pirates? Zeetha is capable of such, yes. I think she does want to spar with Bang, for the reasons she gave. Doug Relyea
She totally didn't notice at all that Bang was paralyzed. Zeetha is a good fighter, but more than once in the past she's charged into situations and/or blurted out things she shouldn't have. --Geoduck42 (talk) 16:00, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
You mean like this? LittleAlvinMaker (talk) 21:32, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
"Seriously? 'They're looking for the Wasp-Eater-' Right in front of him?" And in unrelated news, good to see the computer game got funded. --Geoduck42 (talk) 22:38, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

Other than being surprised by Von Pinn, has Bang ever shown outright fear before? Fred1740 (talk) 14:40, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

Like I quoted above, she at least looks nervous when the Baron threatens her in the hospital. --Geoduck42 (talk) 15:55, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
