Okay, so previous to Agatha and her Father and Uncle, the Heterodynes used to raid England. (otherwise the Circus jaeger wouldn't have known)
- Dimo said "De Lady vants lots und lots ov Jägers!" The actor reacts to that, saying too many Jägers "overwhelm the narrative." If the Heterodynes had raided England using Jägers, they would be just as feared and hated as in Europa. The actors don't seem to have noticed these are real Jägers they are talking to (panel 5). Can't decide which is funnier, Dimo needs more make-up, Maxim may finally be luffed, or Ognian gets to impart upon Axel what he thinks Axel should have got when he grew-up. ( Stopped being the Jaeger kid. )Doug Relyea (talk) 05:00, August 14, 2020 (UTC)

- Right, I get the joke, I was just explaining why it was a little less hilarious for me than the voice part. But something about that interchange that's beyond just a joke: I think there was a time when Dimo would have been furious at someone critiquing his Jäger appearance, and now he thinks it's funny. - Yes, I get the joke! I may be dumb but I'm not wicked dumb. And yes, actors use makeup, as a general principle. But look at the page! I count six fake Jägers, all in masks, no need for makeup. Sometimes, yes, on the stage, makeup is used at the edge of a mask to get it to blend in with the actor's skin and vice versa. But these actors are making no effort to get the edge of the mask to touch their faces, let alone blend in. On this page ✣ I'll give you that the "ve sing" one might be showing his actual neck with purple makeup, but he's the only one. G'night. Bkharvey (talk) 11:39, August 14, 2020 (UTC)
- You and several others just overthink this comic and over analyze each panel. But that is typical of zealous fans to actually see details the authors never put in. Masks and/or makeup has no significance to the plot. The drawing just makes clear who the fake and real Jägers are. --Fred1740 (talk) 17:41, August 14, 2020 (UTC)
- Someday, the International Bureau of Weights and Measures will have a standard for the Suspension of Disbelief. (or the Silliness Benchmark, as it's called in another WebComic.) - Green Jaeger is wearing a full mask because he has to turn into Father Christmas for act III and washing off a face full of makeup is more of a pain in the ass than whipping off a mask. Others may be wearing only makeup with minimal ears and teeth, like G'Kika's girls, and others may be wearing only partial prosthetics... you know, like the two behind Green Clown in in the first panel who are wearing prosthetics on only the lower half of their faces. Okay, so Agatha wants a bunch of fake Jägers to distract everyone while the real Jägers... do what? Rescue all the Sparks Albia has locked in the "garden" dungeon? - Oggie tells Higgs "Time to get hyu dressed op all nize!" Not as a Jäger, which would totally blow his cover as spymaster, and not as a waiter, but fancy like Gil, Tarvek, Martellus, and Rakethorn. So Zeetha can dance with him while everyone is distracted by Jägers and Agatha's ballerina of iron. He'll be on the dance floor, not on stage. --Fred1740 (talk) 10:47, August 14, 2020 (UTC)

- Oh yes, that is clever. On both your parts (Agatha and Fred). So, is Zeetha dancing with Higgs the entire purpose of the plan? I'm not quite sure I understand why that needs such a lot of distraction. Who would mind? Since Higgs arrived on the submarine with Tarvek Her Majesty's spies have know Higgs and Zeetha are a Thing. - It's my hope it's in a Hatbox at the Heterodyne Embassy in Paris, because Maxim and Ognian next appear in story with Lady Jenka at Teribithia's party. Wearing oversized Jaeger masks that had hats.
