XRayVision

WHAT?!

Wouldn't that X-ray scope just let Jim admire her statuesque skeleton? And OtherSmokeKnight... even that cup would be a disappointment compared to the Coffee Engine's product.--MadCat221 (talk) 04:47, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

If it's just a simple X-ray detector, then it would only see her skeleton (and other dense bits of her clothing) if she were reasonably well illuminated with X-rays from behind. But there are not likely to be a lot of ambient X-rays, especially underground. So it's probably sparkier (and more Phil-Foglio-esque) than just that. Zarchne (talk) 05:28, May 18, 2016 (UTC)
It's the pop culture version of x-ray, which is more like magical goggles than a real thing. But hey, we have miniature psychopatic minion robots walking around the place, and that's not even close to being the most unlikely thing Agatha has done. So, yeah. I'll just go with it. By the way, I love Agatha's nonplussed expression as she switches the thing off ^^ --MasakoRei (talk) 08:20, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

Someone on Facebook pointed out that in the first panel the spider might be surprised because “larana” is pretty close to the word for “spider” in Spanish (l’araña)... or French, for that matter (l’araignée). Zarchne (talk) 05:52, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

Makes you wonder... Her skintone is typical of argurons, but that's some pretty dang white hair considering her father's was nearly black. Considering her father being a minion of The Other, and where else we've seen hair that white... could Larana's mother be a geisterdame (who rode ghost spiders)? --MadCat221 (talk) 19:28, May 19, 2016 (UTC)
