- I'm assuming that Higgs was going to say, "What—really? I don't remember that," because he was around at the time, and is surprised that he never heard about Robur Heterodyne's discovery. But the Castle's next words provide the explanation. The Heterodynes would certainly not want anyone else to know there was a power they feared, or at least preferred to avoid rather than confront.
