Professor Yungbluth is a presumed Spark who, according to Gil, set up shop in the environs of Paris when Gil was a student in the city, and there created at least three unsettlingly large acidic snails. Somehow Zola got mixed up in ✣ in his scheme and (once again) she had to be rescued by Gil. As shown in the page image, this anecdote is Yungbluth's only mention in the comic to date.

Professor Yungbluth is the nom d'academe of the madman Jason Yungbluth, who created Weapon Brown and its various sequels, an ultraviolent over-the-top re-take of Charles Schulz's beloved G-rated comic strip. Said comics may or may not feature acidic snails.
